Advanced Clinical Resident

Are you ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment?

I work closely with my clients to explore their identities and navigate the complexities of both their inner and outer worlds. Together, we’ll dive deep into your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, uncovering the hidden strengths and aspirations that make you uniquely you. I believe that by embracing every part of ourselves, we can break free from limitations and step into our authentic power.

As people of color, we often navigate a world that can leave us feeling invisible, unheard, and misunderstood. The hurtful messages we receive—whether personal, public, or professional—can lead us to internalize negative beliefs about ourselves, affecting our self-confidence, self-esteem, and even triggering feelings of impostor syndrome, anxiety, and depression. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

With a renewed sense of self-awareness, I help my clients reconnect with their passions, values, and dreams. By living with purpose, you can find greater fulfillment, recognize the power of your presence, and discover the courage to live the life you truly desire.

I’m here to support you on your journey of self-discovery and personal growth, especially when emotions feel overwhelming. Anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, sadness, racial trauma, and self-doubt don’t have to hold you back from the life you want.

As a mental health counseling student at Hunter College, under the supervision of Odile McKenzie, LCSW, I draw inspiration from AEDP (Affect Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and psychodynamics. Together, we can explore your emotions and unconscious mind to gain valuable insights into your behavior and relationship patterns.

How would your life change if you focused less on finding your place in the world and more on finding your place within yourself? Let’s find out together.
