Advanced Clinical Resident

I identify as female and prefer the pronouns "she/her." My language fluency is in both English and Hindi.

Are you currently facing difficulties in finding someone who will lend an empathetic ear to help you process your emotions and relationship dynamics? Do you often experience a sense of being misunderstood? Are you looking for tools to help you manage anxiety, stress, depression, or the demands of school? I am here to support you on your journey of healing and empowerment.

Within my practice, I aim to create a supportive and inclusive therapeutic practice that recognizes the profound impact of trauma on individuals. With a strong dedication to social justice and cultural competence, I strive to build an environment that values all genders, races, and intersectionalities.

My approach draws from various therapeutic modalities, including Relational Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and elements of Art Therapy. By embracing an eclectic approach, I tailor my methods to meet the unique needs of each client. I remain actively informed about the latest research in areas related to trauma and social justice, ensuring that my practice reflects current knowledge and best practices.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. Your treatment will be supervised and guided by Odile McKenzie, LCSW.
